Yanina Zilberman joined the firm as an Associate Attorney in January 2019. Yanina handles wide-ranging real estate and complex commercial disputes on behalf of developers, various commercial vendors, creditors, and condominium associations. Yanina also handles commercial landlord/tenant disputes. Yanina’s practice extends to trial and appellate work. Prior to joining Egozi & Bennett, Yanina practiced commercial and real estate law, including transactions, litigation, and foreclosure, at both the trial and appellate levels.
Yanina graduated magna cum laude, in the top 5% of her graduating class, from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2013, where she served as an Articles Editor of the St. Thomas Law Review. While at St. Thomas, she completed internships at the Juvenile Division of the Broward County Public Defender’s Office, the Third District Court of Appeal, and the Department of Homeland Security. She was also a member of numerous school organizations, including International Moot Court, Jewish Law Students Association, and Public Interest Law Students Association.
Born in Bryansk, Russia and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Yanina graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. Following graduation from NYU, and prior to moving to Florida to attend law school, she worked for two years as a corporate and litigation paralegal for New York City firm Reitler, Kailas & Rosenblatt, LLC.
Yanina is fluent in Russian.
