Kerri Bennett is a trial lawyer who concentrates her practice on complex commercial cases and civil-fraud based matters. Kerri has tried to verdict or judgment more than 100 cases, including several high profile criminal matters while serving as a prosecutor at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office. She has an extraordinary ability in selecting a jury best suited to hear her case and has trained and consulted many local lawyers on trial strategies and jury-selection techniques.
Prior to entering private practice Kerri served as an Assistant State Attorney for Miami-Dade County with honors, from 1999 to 2003, where she was elevated to the position of Chief of Litigation for the Juvenile Division of the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office.
Kerri received her bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida and graduated from the University of Miami School of Law. While in law school, she was recognized as the top student in her litigation skills class and was selected to represent the University of Miami School of Law in the annual national moot court competition.
Kerri has been recognized as one of the top trial lawyers to come out of the Miami-County State Attorneys’ Office. Her transition into private practice has allowed her to apply those top-flight trial skills to prosecuting commercial matters.
